3. Association of Larger Local Councils
It is a designated aim of the Association to offer an opportunity for discussing and assessing the future role of local government in so far as it relates to those councils who are experiencing significantly different problems from those of our smaller parish colleagues. Many members of the Association are active to pursue an enhanced role for the work of their councils and existing Associations representing local authorities have shown that by grouping together, similar Councils are in a much better position to represent their common interest.
